In light of the recent changes regarding affirmative action, there has been a significant surge in the prominence and enrollment at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Prompt: What are your thoughts or opinions, whether they align with the mainstream or diverge from it, on HBCUs? Whether you're a current student, a prospective student, an alumni, or simply intrigued by the topic, because we all have something to say.

Entry Guidelines

A panel of judges will evaluate each essay and decide who wins based on content, style and interest

Submit unpublished writings between 500- 1000 words

1-4 submissions ~ only $10 per submission (kindly submit separately -fees can be waived)
